Drama Korea satu ini menggunakan fantasi sebagai bumbunya, yaitu menggunakan legenda negeri ginseng, yang sebenarnya juga dikenal di Cina dan Jepang. Kisahnya tentang gumiho yaitu siluman rubah berekor sembilan yang hidup pada masa ratusan tahun lalu tiba-tiba mendapati dirinya dalam masa Korea modern.

Kisahnya dimulai ketika seorang cowok bandel bernama Cha Dae-woong (Lee Seung-gi) tanpa sengaja membebaskan gumiho yang terperangkap dalam sebuah lukisan selama 500 tahun. Gumiho itu sebelumnya ingin menjadi manusia, namun gagal lantaran digosipkan suka memakan hati manusia.

Setelah bebas dari perangkapnya, siluman rubah betina itu menyelamatkan Dae-woong dari kematian lantaran jatuh dari tebing tepat setelah membebaskannya dengan memberinya sebuah mutiara rubahnya. Pada mulanya Dae-woong tidak percaya kalau gumiho di hadapannya yang berwujud wanita cantik ini adalah siluman rubah.

Mi-ho (Shin Min-ah), begitulah nama gumiho tersebut akhirnya hidup bersama dengan Dae-woong karena cowok itu tidak punya pilihan lain. Sebenarnya Dae-woong takut juga karena ia juga mendengar kalau gumiho suka makan hati manusia. Di sisi lain, Mi-ho tetap berniat menjadi manusia, namun harus meminum darah Dae-woong setelah 100 hari berlalu agar bisa memenuhi keinginannya tersebut.

Masalahnya Mi-ho ternyata jatuh cinta kepada Dae-woong. Sebenarnya Dae-woong juga mulai menyukai Mi-ho namun mengingkari perasaannya sendiri karena punya wanita idamannya sendiri, yaitu kakak kelasnya yang bernama Eun Hae-in (Park Soo-jin). Namun karena Hae-in ternyata mempermainkannya, akhirnya Dae-woong bersedia menjadi pacar Mi-ho. Kemunculan seorang pria bernama Park Dong-joo (No Min-woo) membuat hidup Dae-woong dan juga Mi-ho makin rumit.

It is a historical drama set in the 17th century during the European colonial expansion into the Far East. William J. Spencer (Pierre Deporte) is a young British aristocrat in the year 1640 with a fascination for East Asian art, languages, and culture. He counts as his closest friend the young somewhat mercenary Japanese merchantman Yan. In the opening scene, William is in the midst of being swindled by a shady merchant into believing that a plain porcelain chamber pot is a mystical artifact (which plays a later role in the plot as William’s “treasure.”) William sails off to Nagasaki in order to open the “aquatic silk road” between Japan and England – but mostly to escape his creepy and overbearing mother and an arranged marriage. Yan is promised a handsome reward if he can drag her son back in time for the wedding and hightails it after his "friend."

Meanwhile, halfway around the world, the Joseon Empire is operating under a foreign policy that strictly prohibits trade with Westerners, garnering the nickname “the hermit kingdom.” Just south of the Korean mainland lies the island of Jeju, which at this point in history is known as Tamra (sometimes Tamna). The people who live on the island derive their livelihoods by diving for abalone, cultivating a large area of persimmon orchards, and basic subsistence farming; much of what they produce is tithed to the King through a corrupt local government.

Park Gyu (Im Joo-hwan), the other side of the love triangle, arrives from Hanyang (the historical name for Seoul) on a secret mission from the King to uncover corruption, embezzlement, and whatever else he may find on Tamra. However, his cover story leads to a tangle of complications for the poor man – used to being doted on as an aristocratic scholar and high government official, he is sent to Tamra on the pretense of having been at the center of a sexual harassment scandal for which he has been permanently banished to the island. (He’s also not used to manual labor, and the local family that takes him in has a very practical “No work, no food” policy that creates a great number of comedic moments as well).

Our heroine is Jang Beo-jin (Seo Woo), an abalone diver; her mother is the leader of all the village divers (haenyo lit. "sea women"). Unfortunately for Beo-jin, she didn’t inherit her mother’s gifts or prowess for diving. She is the lowest of the apprentice divers after eight years and she is constantly being berated by her mother and all the other divers; she manages to mess up every chance she is given.

Her first meeting with Park Gyu comes when she is sent on a fairly innocuous errand to deliver some abalone to the village elders for a religious ceremony but ends up knocking down the altar and Park Gyu, and losing the medallion that entitles her family to a lower tithe to the King (she adamantly believes it to be in Park Gyu's possession, leading to another hilarious set of antics as she tries to get it back from the upright and uptight noble).

Park Gyu is sent to live with Beo-jin’s family (in a storage shed, no less) on the same day that William is shipwrecked off the coast; Beo-jin hides him (and later Yan as well) in a cave outside the village.

Film Drama Korea Love Rain ini bercerita tentang kisah cinta yang berlatar belakang di sekitar tahun 1970. Seo In Ha dan Kim Yoon Hee. Kim Yoon Hee adalah mahasiswi yang cantik dan pemalu Jurusan Ekonomi di Universitas Keimyung di Daegu, Korea Selatan. Lalu bertemu dan jatuh cinta pada seorang mahasiswa Jurusan Seni benama Seo In Ha yang mengabdikan cintanya hanya pada satu wanita. Tetapi sayangnya kisah cinta mereka ditakdirkan tidak untuk bersatu, dan akhirnya mereka pun menikah dengan pasangan masing-masing dan mengubur cinta mereka dalam-dalam.

Kemudian saat abad-21 ini, putra dari Seo In Ha yang bernama Seo Joon (Jang Geun Suk) bertemu dengan putri Kim Yoon Hee yang bernama Jung Ha Na (Yoona). Seo Joon merupakan seorang fotografer, sedangkankan Kim Ha Na merupakan gadis yang ceria, berbeda dari sifat ibunya yang pemalu. Mereka berdua saling jatuh cinta. Akankah cinta mereka satu sama lain membuat mereka tetap bersama-sama atau mereka harus menghadapi nasib sama dengan orang tuanya?

The story begins with the Kirin Art High School which was formerly a magnificent school that is able to produce quality students. But now the school is on the verge of destruction Kirin and Kirin inevitably require financial assistance in order to revive the fame of the school's Kirin.

Oz Entertainment, Korea's largest entertainment agency that houses an idol group and Hershe Eden Kirin to take over the school, and overhaul the entire regulatory agency Kirin from Kirin teacher selects students to select a qualified Kirin. Kirin like heaven to hell as well as Oz Entertainment took over. 

Apparently, the agency promises that Kirin could bounce back and give hope if the students who excel may become artists. Therefore, Oz also bring great teachers to teach in Kirin, but Oz is also made strict rules that could make students and teachers Kirin annoyed the hell out. Oz could even kick out students who are considered no talent. 

But the Oz Entertainment and broadcasting hours tripped case idol group. Korean entertainment regulators have determined that the artists who are minors should not filming or working above 10 pm. Eden Group and consequently violated the agency temporarily suspended, then the recovery of these cases, Oz artists who are still in school age are required to attend school. 

No exception with the members of Eden and all Hershe still a student would not want the second most popular group at Kirin had to go to school, they should mingle with students Kirin. But because they are still an idol created class differences between students' professional and amateur students. As an artist who has been practicing idol and berpentas over the years is certainly far more experienced than the other students that although Kirin talented but have not had the experience. 

Kirin's story at schools around the Shin Hae-sung (Kang Sora) Kirin enter school with high grades but have a less good stage performance. She was to meet with other students like Jin Yoo-jin (Jung Jin-woon) and JB who later became his friend. Yoo-jin has long been in the entertainment world as a child actor's dream to be a pop star, but at the same time troubled by the problems his parents' divorce. 

On the other hand, JB is a member of the famous idol group I: nd fell in love with Hae-sung, and then going out with girls. But the fabric of their love being challenged because of Rian (Jiyeon), members of the group Hershe pursue her former lover who is none other than JB. Yoo-jin unexpectedly fell in love with Hae-sung, so with Brian for trying to separate the Hae-sung from JB.
